For use in patching old oil paintings or contemporary paintings that have not dried enough to use the wax-resin method of lining, or rip and tear quite easily due to the use of poor quality canvas.  This textile adhesive’s viscosity is carefully adjusted so that it does not easily penetrate the painting canvas but only clings to the surface fibers.  This enables the patched area to breathe and seems to eliminate the usual evidence of the ugly “patch on the back”.  Easily reversed using Lining Compound Remover LCR-9.  Detailed instructions  available.

Useful for filling in small “pits” as it is self-leveling.  May be added to touch-up colors to increase viscosity.
